Anne Sophie Luong (Violine)

Anne Sophie Luong wurde 2004 in Bad Homburg v. d. Höhe geboren und begann mit dem Violinspiel im Alter von sechs Jahren. Nach einem Jahr studierte sie bereits bei Prof. Yvonne Smeulers am Frankfurter Konservatorium und danach bei Prof. Susanne Stoodt an der HfMDK Frankfurt. Zurzeit ist Anne Sophie Studentin bei dem italienischen Solisten Prof. Marco Rizzi an der Musikhochschule Mannheim.

Anne Sophie gewann zahlreiche Preise und Auszeichnungen. Dazu zählen u. a. der 1. Preis beim internationalen Musikwettbewerb „London Classical Music Competition 2022“ und der 2. Preis beim „International Josef Micka Violin Competition 2020“ in Prag. Sie ist mehrfache 1. Bundespreisträgerin bei "Jugend musiziert" u. a. in der Kategorie Violine Solo und wurde mit Sonderpreisen von der Deutschen Stiftung Musikleben und Sparkasse Bremen ausgezeichnet.

Die junge Violinistin ist als Solistin mit zahlreichen Orchestern aufgetreten, darunter das Main-Kammer-Orchester und das Akkordeon-Orchester Frankfurter Berg und sie spielte u. a. im Konzerthaus Berlin, bei der Deutschen Oper Berlin und in der Schlosskirche Bad Homburg. Mehrere Solo-Konzerte mit der Sinfonietta Köln und dem Akkordeon-Orchester Frankfurt-Heddernheim sind für 2023 geplant.

Anne Sophie nahm als aktive Teilnehmerin an Meisterkursen des israelischen Solisten Vadim Gluzman, des Dirigenten und Violinisten Christoph Poppen und des Primarius des Schumann-Quartetts Erik Schumann, teil. Sie nimmt an dem Kammermusikprojekt „Mit Musik – Miteinander“ der Kronberg Academy teil und ist auch mit ihrem eigenen Klaviertrio kammermusikalisch aktiv. Im Sommer 2023 trat Anne Sophie im Rahmen des Livorno Music Festivals in Italien unter anderem mit Danilo Rossi und Alessandro Deljavan auf.

Aktuell ist das Nachwuchstalent Mentor-Stipendiatin der Stiftung Bad Homburger Schlosskonzerte und seit 2022 Akademistin der Internationalen Musikakademie Berlin. Seit 2020 wird sie von der Hermann und Dr. Irmgard Neumann Stiftung gefördert. Anne Sophie spielt aktuell auf einer zeitgenössischen Geige von Luca Salvadori, die ihr von von der Maezena Plattform GmbH vermittelt worden ist und von der Hermann und Dr. Irmgard Neumann Stiftung großzügig zur Verfügung gestellt wird.

Anne Sophie, born in 2004 in Bad Homburg v. d. Hoehe, Germany, began playing the violin at the age of six. A year later, she received lessons from Prof. Yvonne Smeulers at the Frankfurt Conservatory, followed by Prof. Susanne Stoodt at the HfMDK Frankfurt. Currently, she is student of the Italian soloist Prof. Marco Rizzi at the Musikhochschule Mannheim, Germany.

Anne Sophie has won various prizes and awards. She is 1st prize-winner of numerous "Jugend musiziert" competitions in Germany at the national level in the category 'violin solo' and has been awarded special prizes by the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben and Sparkasse Bremen. She is also 1st prizewinner at the international music competition "London Classical Music Competition 2022" and 2nd prize-winner at the "International Josef Micka Violin Competition 2020" in Prague.

The young violinist has performed as soloist with numerous orchestras, including the Main-Kammer-Orchester and Akkordeon-Orchester Frankfurter Berg and has previously played public concerts in the Konzerthaus Berlin, Deutsche Oper Berlin and Schlosskirche Bad Homburg. Several solo concerts with the Sinfonietta Köln and the Akkordeon-Orchester Frankfurt- Heddernheim are planned for the remaining year of 2023.

Anne Sophie took part in masterclasses by the Israeli soloist Vadim Gluzman, the conductor and violinist Christoph Poppen and the primarius from the Schumann Quartet Erik Schumann. She is also active in chamber music, including her own piano trio and through her participation in the chamber music project "Mit Musik - Miteinander" at the Kronberg Academy. Together with renowned Italian musicians such as Danilo Rossi and
Alessandro Deljavan, she performed at the Livorno Music Festival 2023 in Italy.

Currently, the up-and-coming young talent is a mentor scholarship holder of the foundation Bad Homburg Schlosskonzerte and, since 2022, a scholarship holder of the International Music Academy Berlin. Since 2020, she has also been generously supported by the Hermann and Dr. Irmgard Neumann Foundation.
